Shot on 35mm, Transmission is a spread of fragments from the ordinary life of Milano’s outskirts.
Italy now stands in its worst condition in terms of politics, social welfare and wealth: no man is allowed to slightly acknowledge the deeper crisis – no jobs and no places friendly to youths except for ghettos and borderline areas. Three different kids attempt to communicate with concrete and nature, striving to survive this long arduous winter (they even grow their own veggies as they cannot afford supermarkets anymore).
